After graduating from St. Bonaventure University in 1978 with a BA degree, Bob attended the Duke University Fuqua School of Business where he earned an MBA degree in 1980. Upon graduation, he worked for Goldman Sachs in Miami for several years, specializing in municipal bonds for high-net-worth clients. After moving to Tampa in 1987 he joined Prudential Securities. The Crash of 1987 and another bear market in 1989 led Bob to join Steve Cooper, becoming a Partner of Bay Capital in 1990, given the firm’s strong dedication to mitigating downside risk. This remains his focus today. In addition to guiding his clients, Bob has had several roles within the firm, including marketing and investment committee.
